Night Scuba Diving in Isla Mujeres
Night Scuba Diving offers a thrilling experience to scuba divers who have successfully completed their PADI Advanced Open Water® or are in the process of completing their PADI Advanced Open Water® as this can be chosen as one of your elective dives. Night Diving provides a unique experience for divers to discover different aquatic species that are normally dormant during day dives. There are risks involved in night diving and it is important that the diver is aware of safety at all times. Visibility during Night Scuba Diving is limited to the beam of light from your light source. This can sometimes cause sensations of vertigo for divers and in turn create panic for those that are less experienced. Because of these risk factors it is important to stay with the group at all times.
For those in the process of completing their PADI Advanced Open Water® course, the elective Night Scuba Dive will teach you invaluable skills that will further your confidence as a scuba diver. You will be taught how to enter, exit and navigate in the dark. As well, you will learn how to handle your light source and experience the excitement of diving in the dark.
